October brings with it many exciting events, like the lunar eclipse coming to the UK on 28th October, Halloween of course, and the anticipation of winter. For art collectors and stationery enthusiasts, it's the perfect time to explore new collections and add a touch of seasonal charm to writing supplies.
For me, it’s the last month before the upcoming winter season, so I am working hard behind the scenes to finish everything ready for November. The colder weather has been motivating, and I have been painting a lot these last few weeks, and preparing some brand new product ideas too!

Halloween classic motifs & spooky themes
Halloween is a beloved holiday that allows us to embrace our playful and imaginative side. Incorporating Halloween spooky themes into your home can really set the mood. From scurrying rats and flying bats, to dismembered hands and enchanted potions, swapping out your art prints can be a great conversation starter for guests especially if you’re having a party, or to give as a gift!
For those who celebrate the festival Samhain (pronounced sow-win), and harvest festivals, you can celebrate with more classic motifs such as pumpkins, pomegranates and apples. Taking a walk amongst the crunching leaves, or sitting at home reading whilst burning spiced candles and incense.
Exploring winter stationery collections
As autumn transitions into winter, it's time to start thinking about the upcoming holiday season. I’ve been working hard to paint and hand make new stationery collections featuring distinctly elegant designs inspired by winter florals, snowflakes and evergreens.
